ABOUT THE LES FOUNDATION
The LES Foundation: Mentoring Tomorrow's IP Licensing Leaders
The LES Foundation was established in 2000 by the Licensing Executives Society, (USA & Canada), Inc., to increase awareness and understanding of the licensing of intellectual property rights (IP) and to communicate the critical role licensing plays in bringing creations and innovation to the commercial marketplace.
The Foundation actively works to promote mentorship and to educate young professionals about the world of IP licensing through two key programs:
- LES Foundation’s Annual Business Plan Competition
- The Frank Barnes Mentor Award Program
These programs offer IP education, professional networking and valuable mentorship opportunities aimed at fostering the development of tomorrow’s licensing leaders.
The Foundation is a not-for-profit, 501c(3) corporation. Its activities are funded through generous contributions from LES (USA & Canada), Inc., and LES International, as well as important corporate and individual donations.
The Foundation would welcome your tax-deductible contribution to help support its important work.
The Foundation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of LES (USA & Canada), Inc., and is governed by a Board of Directors who are all current members of the organization.
