Results from the 2006 Licensing Survey
have been published in the December 2007
edition of les Nouvelles. Preliminary
findings from the survey were presented
by Foundation President Richard
Razgaitis at the 2007 LES Annual
Meeting. Ongoing efforts to expand the
survey and accumulate data makes its
results increasingly valuable for providing
information and perspectives about
the field of licensing to LES members,
business and government alike.
Be sure to watch for your online
invitation to participate in the 2007
State of Licensing survey. Please let your
valuable voice be heard and recruit
your colleagues to participate, as well.
The LES Foundation is pleased to launch its fourth annual survey on
the "State of Licensing." Information gleaned from these surveys will,
over time, provide LES members and leaders in business and government
with important insights into the significance of licensing, intellectual
asset management and business development.
LES members will shortly be receiving an email invitation to participate
in the survey, containing a link to the on-line questionnaire. The
quality of the data will be a function of your participation. In
addition to needing a significant level of response, we will need your
careful consideration of the questions and your accurate responses. We
recognize that each of you is inundated with requests for your time, but
we believe this survey is worthy of your attention. Time is of the
essence. It is important that we receive your response by February
21st.
We will, of course, share with all respondents the results,
implications, and conclusions. Publication of the results will follow.
Please help us to gain a deeper understanding of the importance and
benefits of licensing, and to shape its impact on our business and the
future.
Thank you for your participation!
Sincerely,
Art Rose
